c) Payment of the voluntary contribution is processed via a bank transaction to the bank account of the organizers.
d) Organizers will refund the full amour of the contribution up to three weeks prior to the start of the event. Afterwards, fees will generally not be reimbursed. In particular cases the organizers can be contacted an asked for a refund. The application for refunds must be submitted directly to the organizers.
e) If body and health of the participants are at risk due to weather conditions, the event will be canceled or interrupted. This also applies in case of force majeure, order by the public authorities or the landlord, legal rulings or in cases of risk to participants or a threat of escalation caused, for example, by large numbers of people. In such cases claims for refund or compensation are excluded unless gross negligence or intent on the part of the organizers can be proven.
f) The organizers reserve the right to restrict access to individual areas of the event (physical as well as digital) for reasons of safety, e.g. due to overcrowding. Participants may not derive any claims for compensation from this.
g) Domiciliary rights are exercised in all event venues through the organizers or third parties appointed by them. This also applies to any digital event during the congress.

In case of non-compliance, regardless of the nature of the infringement, the organizers reserve the right to withdraw from the contract pursuant to §1 and expel participants from the event.
b) The concerts taking place in the context of the event can seriously and permanently affect and damage the hearing. At the concerts/parties, the level of noise will likely exceed 95 dB. The organizers take the necessary precautions in order to prevent permanent damage to hearing or health. At the same time, it is strongly recommended that participants use hearing protection to prevent possible damage to hearing or health. The organizers are not liable for any damage caused.

§5 Audio, image, and video recording
a) It is important to the organizers, that all participants handle recording of images or voice in a sensitive way in order to allow a trusting atmosphere at the congress. There are various reasons why people do not want to be photographed or recorded in any way. We aim at respecting these as far as possible. This means: If you like to take a picture or any other form of record in a situation with less than 20 people, e.g. in workshops, you have to ask all people involved for their permission. This also applies to any recording in digital events.
In situations with more than 20 people as well as in public events of the conference, you may take recordings without asking.
In digital events (also if larger that 20 people), you have to ask for permission for recordings whenever a persons image and name is visible on the screen at the same time.

For reasons of public relations and media coverage, the organizers have invited media representatives and an own team. The conditions explained above apply to them as well.
By entering the congress-venues (physically or digitally), the participants agree to the recording and non-remunerated use (printed or digital) of their voice and image by the organizers and their partners under the conditions named above. If a picture shows one single person and this in a recognizable way, the respective person can ask the organizers to remove his*her picture from the respective media if this is still possible.

§6 Commercial activity, advertising
a) Any commercial activity of participants at the event is prohibited without the organizers’ prior written consent.
b) Advertising of any kind by participants or other third parties is prohibited at the event venue and its immediate surroundings unless organizers have granted their explicit prior permission. This advertising ban covers, in particular, the distribution or placing of flyer, giveaways and similar items as well as the use of advertisements of any kind, and the covering of advertising of the event’s partners. Trademark references on clothes are excluded from the ban.

§7 Compensation, liability of organizers
a) Visitors may make claims for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health caused by a negligent violation of duty by the organizers or by an intentional or negligent violation of duty by the legal representatives of or persons employed by the organizers. This also applies to other damages caused by a grossly negligent violation of duty by the organizers or caused by an intentional or grossly negligent violation of duty by the legal representatives or persons employed by the organizers. Liability of the organizers is ruled out for all other cases of damages.

§8 Use of registration data
a) The data is used for organizational purposes of the congress only.
b) If explicit consent is given in the registration form, participants will be contacted via email for evaluation and/or scientific purposes regarding the event. Information of data protection regarding this process will be given prior to the evaluation process.
c) If explicit consent is given in the registration form, participants will be added to the newsletter list of the organizer. This takes place through a double-opt-in-process.
